The Moto G86 specs 2025 are no longer a mystery. Thanks to several certifications and leaks, we now have a clear picture of what Motorola’s next midrange device offers. As expected, the Moto G86 is likely to launch globally under that name and as the Motorola S60 Neo in China, just like its predecessor.

Recently, the G86 secured approval from EEC in Europe, as well as from MIIT and 3C in China. These certifications strongly suggest that the launch is right around the corner. Furthermore, the dual-branding strategy reaffirms Motorola’s global release plans.

Interestingly, there’s a notable difference in battery capacity across regions. Chinese models will include a 6,720 mAh battery, while the global variant will ship with a 5,200 mAh unit. This change might be due to regulatory or design constraints. Regardless, both options should offer solid endurance.

When it comes to the display, the Moto G86 brings premium features to a midrange price point. It will include a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, along with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. In addition, Gorilla Glass 7i will protect the screen, ensuring durability and clarity.

Under the hood, Motorola equips the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. This processor delivers excellent performance for daily use, multitasking, and even mobile gaming. Moreover, the G86 will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, providing ample power and space for most users.

For photography enthusiasts, the G86 offers a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Although this setup is not revolutionary, it should handle everyday photography quite well. Most users will find it more than capable for social media and casual shooting.

One of the standout features is software. The Moto G86 will launch with Android 15, giving users immediate access to the latest features. This includes improved battery management, updated privacy tools, and smoother animations. Unlike many budget phones, the G86 doesn’t require a delayed update to stay current.

Pricing leaks indicate that the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model will cost around €330 in the Eurozone. At this price, the G86 competes well against other midrange options, especially with its high refresh rate display and generous specs.

In conclusion, the Moto G86 specs 2025 reveal a phone that balances performance, design, and value. It brings meaningful upgrades, including Android 15 and high display brightness, without pushing the price too high. With global certifications complete and specs already circulating online, an official launch announcement could arrive at any time.
