The Pixel 10 Series launch will take place on August 13, 2025, during Google’s annual Made by Google event. The phones will hit retail stores on August 20. Google plans to introduce four new models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Key Upgrades in the Pixel 10 Lineup

This year, the base Pixel 10 will reportedly include a triple-camera setup, adding a telephoto lens. To keep the price accessible, it may slightly compromise on camera quality.

Meanwhile, the Pro, Pro XL, and Fold models will stick closely to last year’s camera designs. Instead of hardware overhauls, Google will focus on performance improvements through the new Tensor G5 chipset.

Tensor G5 Powers Smarter Performance

Google’s custom Tensor G5 chip brings more advanced AI features and smoother overall performance. Users can expect better voice commands, smarter image processing, and faster response times.

This chip also improves battery efficiency, which helps larger models like the Pro XL and Fold run longer without needing bulkier batteries.

All devices will run on Android 15 and showcase a refreshed Material 3 Expressive UI, offering a more colorful and intuitive user experience.

Pixel Watch 4 Joins the Launch

Alongside the phones, Google will unveil the Pixel Watch 4. Leaked renders show it may come with a thicker body, likely to house a larger battery.

Google has upgraded the charging system and added new hardware buttons. These may offer improved controls for fitness tracking or gestures.

The watch will likely introduce Google Gemini, a smarter AI assistant designed to replace the original Google Assistant on wearables.

Gemini AI and Deeper Integration

With Gemini AI, the Pixel Watch 4 will deliver more accurate, context-aware suggestions. Users can expect seamless smart replies, voice-based shortcuts, and real-time recommendations.

Gemini also aligns with the Tensor G5’s on-device AI, offering a tightly connected ecosystem across all Pixel devices.

Faster Rollout Compared to Last Year

Last year’s Pixel 9 series launched on the same date but reached buyers at different times. This year, all Pixel 10 devices are expected in stores by August 20—a much tighter window.

By reducing delays, Google aims to deliver a smoother buying experience and capitalize on early interest in its flagship hardware.

Why the Pixel 10 Series Matters

The Pixel 10 Series launch reflects Google’s ambition to lead in mobile AI. Each device combines thoughtful design, smart features, and faster performance. Whether you’re interested in the camera, the new chip, or AI-powered tools, this generation feels ready to impress.

With four phones and a next-gen smartwatch on deck, Google’s August event is one of the most anticipated tech launches of the year.
