Tilta Reveals Full Camera Cage for DJI Osmo 360

Tilta camera cage DJI Osmo 360 users now have a game-changing rig option for enhanced protection and mounting flexibility. Tilta has introduced a full aluminum cage for DJI’s new 360 camera, providing a rugged, lightweight frame that expands how creators use the compact device. Although pricing and availability details remain unknown, the features already position it as a must-have tool for Osmo 360 owners.

The DJI Osmo 360 launched last week and is already being praised as a true competitor to the Insta360 X5. It includes dual square 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors that shoot up to 8K at 50fps in panoramic mode. In single-lens mode, it handles 5K video at 60fps. Its aggressive starting price of €479.99 gives it a significant edge, especially for creators who want high performance on a budget.

Tilta’s full cage wraps the Osmo 360 completely without covering the screen or lenses. It’s made from aluminum, so it remains light yet strong. The quick-release design lets you remove the camera swiftly when needed. This adds protection during use without slowing down your setup time. A silicone lens protector is also included, which is valuable since the lenses are not user-replaceable like those on the Insta360 X5.

The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 mounting points and a cold shoe mount. These allow for attachments like microphones, lights, or mounts for cars, drones, bikes, and more. As a result, content creators get maximum flexibility without needing to buy additional adapters. DJI’s magnetic connector remains accessible, so existing accessories stay compatible even with the cage installed.

On one side of the cage is a removable panel. This gives you fast access to the battery and memory card slot. Since the Osmo 360 has only 105GB of internal storage, many users will rely on external microSD cards. Thanks to the cage’s design, swapping cards or batteries doesn’t require full disassembly. It saves time and keeps your workflow efficient.

Overall, the Tilta camera cage DJI Osmo 360 brings added value to the Osmo system. It makes your camera safer to use in dynamic situations while unlocking more professional configurations. Whether you’re vlogging, shooting action content, or traveling with gear, this cage supports you without slowing you down.

Although we’re still waiting for an official release date and price, the announcement has already drawn attention from early adopters. With the Osmo 360 already appealing to budget-conscious pros, Tilta’s cage offers an easy upgrade path. It provides practical enhancements that improve everyday use without adding bulk or complexity.

As more creators look for ways to get cinematic footage with small-form cameras, accessories like Tilta’s will play a key role. For those serious about pushing the Osmo 360 to its limits, this cage could become an essential part of the kit.
