Design & Build Quality
The Nothing Phone (1) stands out with its transparent back panel, which reveals the internal components and features 5 LED light strips that can light up for notifications or as a camera fill light. The phone is constructed with Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back, framed in aluminum, providing a premium feel while maintaining durability. Despite its 193.5g weight, the phone is well-balanced and comfortable to hold. It has an IP53 rating, which offers some protection against dust and splashes.

Display
The 6.55-inch OLED display of the Nothing Phone (1) is vibrant and sharp, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+, enhancing the visual experience with smooth scrolling and vivid colors. With peak brightness reaching 1200 nits, the display remains clear and legible even under direct sunlight. The Always On Display feature adds convenience by showing essential information without unlocking the device.

Performance
Powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor, the Nothing Phone (1) delivers reliable performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The octa-core CPU and Adreno 642L GPU ensure smooth multitasking and graphic-intensive applications. Available in three storage options—128GB with 8GB RAM, 256GB with 8GB RAM, and 256GB with 12GB RAM—the phone offers ample space for apps and media, though it lacks expandable storage. Performance benchmarks, including AnTuTu scores of 592789 (v9), reflect its capability to handle most tasks with ease.

Camera
The Nothing Phone (1) features a dual-camera system with two 50 MP sensors. The main camera includes optical image stabilization (OIS) for stable shots, even in low light conditions, while the ultrawide lens offers a broad 114˚ field of view. The camera performs well in various lighting scenarios, with 4K video recording capabilities and live HDR for enhanced video quality. The 16 MP selfie camera captures detailed and vibrant self-portraits. Video recording is supported at 1080p for selfies and 4K for the main camera, providing flexibility for content creation.

The device supports 33W wired fast charging, which can charge the phone to 50% in 30 minutes and fully charge it in about 70 minutes. Additionally, it supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, allowing for versatile charging options. The battery endurance rating of 108 hours indicates a solid performance for average usage.

Software & Features
Running on Android 12 with Nothing OS 2.5.5, the Nothing Phone (1) provides a clean and minimalistic user interface, free of bloatware. The phone is expected to receive up to three major Android updates, ensuring it remains current with software developments. The under-display fingerprint sensor is responsive, and the phone also includes various sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyro, and compass.

Audio & Connectivity
The Nothing Phone (1) features stereo speakers that deliver clear and loud audio, though it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
