Following the recent launch of the Oppo Watch X2, new leaks suggest that Oppo is preparing a smaller variant dubbed the Oppo Watch X2 Mini. Though official details remain scarce, early industry chatter offers a solid look at what users can expect from the upcoming smart wearable.
According to reports, the Watch X2 Mini will retain many of the core features found in its larger sibling. While the exact display size is still unknown, it’s expected to use a 60Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits, offering vibrant visuals and excellent outdoor visibility.
The wearable will also continue the dual-chip, dual-OS setup found in the standard Watch X2. It will use a Snapdragon W5 SoC to run Wear OS 5, and a BES2800 MCU to handle an RTOS-based Power Saver mode. This configuration helps optimize both performance and battery life, switching intelligently between modes depending on user activity.
Though the exact battery capacity hasn’t been disclosed, the Watch X2 Mini is expected to offer up to three days of use in Smart Mode and six to eight days in Power Saver mode. For comparison, the full-sized Watch X2 offers up to five days in Smart Mode and sixteen days in Power Saver mode.
Internally, the Mini model will likely feature 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, offering ample space and responsiveness for apps, music, and tracking data. On the health and fitness front, the device is said to include:
- Optical heart rate sensor
- SpO2 (blood oxygen) sensor
- Fall detection
- 60-second health check routine
Durability appears to be a focus as well, with the Watch X2 Mini reportedly earning IP68 dust/water resistance and a 5ATM rating, meaning it should handle swims and showers with ease.
As for design, the Mini is expected to follow the same aesthetic cues as the standard X2, though detailed visuals are limited to a teaser poster for now. Still, it’s safe to assume a sleek and minimal look that aligns with Oppo’s modern design language.
With premium features, compact form, and extended battery life, the Oppo Watch X2 Mini could become a strong contender in the smart wearables market, especially for users seeking high-end functionality in a smaller package.
