The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series is nearly here. New renders leaked by Evan Blass show updated designs for the Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra 2. These smartwatches are set to launch alongside the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 next month.
All three models feature a squircle design—a blend of square and circle shapes. This look first appeared on last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra and is now spreading across the entire 2025 lineup. The new design offers a more modern and unified style.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic brings back its rotating bezel. This popular feature allows users to navigate quickly and precisely. The watch will likely feature a 1.5-inch screen, 46mm case, LTE support, and 64GB of storage.
Samsung will power all models with its new Exynos W1000 chip. This processor promises faster performance and better battery life than its predecessor. It also supports One UI 8 Watch, built on Google Wear OS 6, which means more custom options and smoother interactions.
Leaks suggest Samsung will reveal the new lineup during its upcoming Unpacked event, expected in July 2025. The company typically announces major wearable and foldable updates during this mid-year showcase.
These watches aim to please both fitness fans and style-conscious users. With Galaxy ecosystem integration, the Watch 8 series offers smooth pairing with Galaxy phones, tablets, and even foldables.
Samsung is clearly preparing to compete more directly with Apple and Google in the smartwatch space. Thanks to enhanced hardware, better software, and a refined design, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 could be one of 2025’s top wearable launches.
