Samsung Expands One UI to Smart Appliances

The Samsung One UI appliances program creates a unified experience across smartphones, TVs, and home appliances. Samsung combines consistent design, simple navigation, and seamless connectivity to give users a smarter digital lifestyle.

A Unified Software Experience Across Devices

With Samsung One UI appliances, customers enjoy familiar design features on every screen. Apps such as Bixby, Gallery, and Samsung TV Plus are now available across devices. As a result, users can switch between mobile, TV, or refrigerator screens without confusion.

Moreover, SmartThings integration connects multiple appliances into a single ecosystem. Families can access services like Family Care, Pet Care, and Home Care from one place. In addition, the Now Brief feature delivers daily weather, schedules, recipes, and appliance updates in a simple glance view.

Long-Term Software Support

Samsung commits to seven years of software updates for Wi-Fi enabled appliances launched from 2024. This means appliances will remain secure, functional, and intelligent for much longer. As a result, customers can enjoy extended product value and peace of mind.

September Updates for 2024 Models

Beginning in September, Samsung will release major updates for 2024 smart appliances. These upgrades focus on security, intelligence, services, and interface improvements.

Upgraded Security

Samsung is bringing Knox Matrix security to Wi-Fi connected refrigerators, washers, dryers, air conditioners, and induction ranges. Each device can now check the security status of others through Trust Chain.

Furthermore, screen-equipped models such as Family Hub refrigerators and Bespoke AI washers will gain advanced protections. These include encrypted Credential Sync, Passkey support, and the Knox Security dashboard for real-time monitoring.

Smarter Features

AI Vision Inside becomes more powerful with the ability to recognize both fresh and packaged foods. In addition, Bixby Voice ID provides personalized results by recognizing individual family members. Users can also activate Bixby faster with a simple double tap on the screen.

Service Expansion

Samsung TV Plus expands to new regions, including Canada, Brazil, and India. At the same time, 7-inch washing machines will support eight additional Indian languages, including Bengali, Punjabi, and Gujarati. This expansion ensures better accessibility for diverse households.

Refined Interface

A refreshed One UI design introduced in 2025 models will also reach 2024 appliances. The new interface improves navigation, adds region-specific options, and delivers a smoother, more consistent experience.

The Future of Connected Living

Through Samsung One UI appliances, Samsung is shaping a secure and intelligent home environment. By unifying software, expanding AI features, and offering long-term updates, the company provides value far beyond hardware.

As a result, users can expect appliances that remain fresh, personalized, and reliable. This cohesive strategy shows how Samsung continues to lead in building connected lifestyles.
