Important Notes on Mpesa Transactions

  1. Account and Transaction Limits:
    • Maximum account balance: KES 500,000
    • Maximum daily transaction value: KES 500,000
    • Maximum amount per transaction: KES 250,000
  2. Minimum Withdrawal:
    • You cannot withdraw less than KES 50 at an Mpesa agent.
  3. Self-Reversal:
    • To initiate a self-reversal, forward the transaction confirmation SMS to 456.
  4. Valid Documentation:
    • For registration and transactions, valid IDs include Kenyan Passports, National IDs, Foreign Passports, Military IDs, and Foreigner Certificates.
