Samsung has announced that it will introduce a new Galaxy device on October 21. While the company hasn’t disclosed the exact name of the product, it’s widely speculated to be the rumored Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which could be revealed next Monday. A video teaser from Samsung is available below.
It’s still unclear whether the device will be named the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition or the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition. However, a leaked image suggests that the phone will be slimmer than the regular Galaxy Z Fold6.
The leaked image indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition will measure 4.9mm when unfolded and 10.6mm when folded. Rumors also suggest it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 200MP main camera, and an IP48 rating. The cover screen is expected to be 6.5 inches, while the inner folding display will be 8 inches.
With just a few days left until the unveiling, more details about this foldable smartphone will be revealed soon.
