Samsung’s Galaxy S10 and Note10 series, though released in 2019, are still in use by many people in 2024. However, a recent software update has caused significant issues for some users, leading to bootlooping, where the phone continuously restarts and fails to fully boot into Android.
A growing number of users have reported the issue on Reddit, with many speculating that the problem could be linked to the SmartThings framework. Unfortunately, for affected users, the only known workaround at the moment is performing a full factory reset via recovery mode, as the devices can’t boot into the operating system.
Samsung has yet to release an official statement addressing the issue, and the extent of the problem is still unclear. More information is expected to emerge as investigations continue.
